Ada County - The Ada County Highway District will hold a ribbon cutting Monday, June 17th, for the opening of the Cloverdale Overpass. The event will begin at 10 a.m. in the parking lot at Spalding Elementary School located at 12311 West Braddock Drive in Boise.

The project is not complete. This event is to commend the achievement and commitment to open one lane of travel in each direction after the overpass had been closed for a year.

This is a joint project between ACHD and the Idaho Transportation Department. ITD is replacing the overpass with a wider bridge that has two travel lanes in each direction, bike lanes and sidewalk. In coordination with that, ACHD is widening Cloverdale Road between Franklin Road and Camas Drive. Improvements include two travel lanes in each direction and a center turn lane, a raised bike lane and a new bridge over the Ridenbaugh Canal.

Construction and ongoing impacts will remain until the project finishes. Work will be complete by September 2019.
