Garden City - ACHD Commuteride is recognizing 100 local businesses for their participation in the annual May in Motion campaign. Tuesday, June 25th, the Top 100 businesses that showed dedication to sustainable transportation are being honored at a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at JUMP (1000 West Myrtle Street).

These participants are leaders in promoting smart commute options for their employees by providing financial and practical incentives, as well as encouraging participation in ridesharing, walking, biking, and other alternate forms of getting to and from work.

This is the 15th year Commuteride has hosted May in Motion. This May, the campaign took 1,133,083 miles of travel off roads in the valley.
