The Ada County Highway District would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to neighbors in the community who took a hand in helping to keep storm drains clear throughout the weekend. As a result, we had very minimal localized flooding, and crews were able to focus on keeping roads clear and safe.

We would also like to express our appreciation to those citizens who called to let us know about fallen trees in the roadways over the weekend, for being especially safe around our plowing operations, and for the outpouring of support we've received from the community as we worked to tackle the storm.

Crews took inventory of ACHD roadways at 2 a.m. this morning, and things were looking good. They will continue to work closely with the National Weather Service, address any problem areas, and anticipate any future precipitation we may see this week.
