Leadership from the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) and the City of Garden City attended a joint meeting today via Zoom. Both ACHD Director Bruce Wong and Garden City Mayor John Evans detailed how the pandemic had impacted each respective agency and how they've combated those issues.

ACHD Planning Supervisor Ryan Head presented an update on the Garden City Neighborhood Plan which is currently in the middle of an online open house. He also informed them that ACHD is currently accepting comments on the FY 2021-2025 Integrated Five-Year Work Plan.

Finally, Garden City Development Services Director Jenah Thornborrow shared that the City of Garden City is currently working closely with the Idaho Transportation Department on plans to address Chinden Boulevard and Glenwood Street.

Both agencies hope to meet more frequently, but the date of the next meeting will be determined in the future.
