Post Date:03/25/2020

The Ada County Highway District will begin turning off school speed zone flashers this week following the extension of school closures.

This work will take crews a few days to complete since there is no remote means of shutting the flashers off. A signal technician will have to go to each site to complete the work.

ACHD does not have a set date for when the flashers will be turned back on, but staff will stay in contact with the school districts regarding school schedules in order to have the flashers operating when schools reopen.
