ACHD to reduce speed limit on Harrison Boulevard, 15th Street

Drivers can expect to see a speed limit change two popular North End roads early next week.
The Ada County Highway District is reducing the speeds to 25 mph on Harrison Boulevard between Hays Street and Hill Road and 15th Street between Hays Street and Parkhill Drive. The current speed on both stretches of road is 30 mph.
ACHD has had numerous requests to do this, so after working with City of Boise and Boise Police the decision was made to lower the speed limit.
The new reduced speed limit is planned for the beginning of next week once a new sign indicating the correct speed is installed.
