The Ada County Highway District is inviting the public to review and comment on its long-range plan for roadway and intersection expansion projects. The Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) defines system improvement projects that will be needed in the next 20 years. This includes estimated project costs, construction times frames and which portions of those costs are impact-fee eligible.

Starting Thursday, July 16th, the public can view and comment on the draft CIP. Any comments, whether general or specific, are welcome. Comments should be submitted here. The public comment period will run through Thursday, August 6th.

Along with the CIP, ACHD will update the District's impact fee ordinance. The ordinance covers fees charged to development to help compensate for the new roadway infrastructure needed to promote and accommodate orderly growth and development in Ada County.

The proposed ACHD impact fees are the minimum amount necessary to accommodate new growth in the county.
