The Ada County Highway District Commission will review and approve a FY 2021 budget at an evening Commission meeting tomorrow (Wednesday, August 26) at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.

With sensitivity to the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on our community, the ACHD Commission elected not to increase the property tax certification (up to a three percent allowable increase), nor will they take the new construction roll (growth) this coming year. The property tax certification will remain the same as it was in FY 2020.

The proposed FY 2021 budget of $135.7 million includes $70.2 million in capital projects such as:

• Maple Grove Road between Victory Road and Overland Road
• Eagle Road between Amity Road and Victory Road
• Ten Mile Road and Amity Road Intersection
• Bikeway and pedestrian improvements on Cassia Street
