Thank you for submitting your Name a Plow ideas to our 2025 Contest. You may only submit one name. Please only submit this form once.
RULES:
1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Those under the age of 18 should have a parent/guardian submit on their behalf.
2. Applicants must be an Ada County resident.
3. Submissions should be 15 characters or less.
4. Names submitted should be appropriate. Submissions that include profanity or inappropriate language will be excluded.
5. We've all had our fill of politics this year, let's keep politics out of this contest. Names including political candidate's names or puns based on candidate's names or politics in general will be excluded.
6. If the same name is submitted by multiple applicants, the entry that came in first will be the one considered.
7. Names may be submitted by a group (schools, nursing homes, etc.), but must include a contact name. Only one prize will be given.
8. No more than one submission will be accepted per person/group.
9. Winners from past contests will not be considered to win in future contests.
10. Names must be submitted through the Official ACHD Name-a-Snowplow contest webpage to be eligible.
11. ACHD employees and their families are not eligible to enter.
12. ACHD reserves the right to reject any submission for any reason.
13. Applicant agrees to release, defend, indemnify, and hold the Commission and ACHD harmless with respect to all claims arising from entry.
In its discretion and to ensure the contest run efficiently, ACHD will narrow the list of names submitted down for voting by the public. Public voting will occur on ACHD’s Name a Plow contest webpage.
The name receiving the most votes will be announced as the winner. In the event of a tie, a winner will be determined by a blind draw.
Each of the winners will receive a $100 gift card. If a group or organization wins, they will receive only one gift card.
The winners’ full names and hometowns will be published.
