When the sun goes down, the risk goes up. Whether you're walking the dog, riding your bike, or heading home from a summer event, visibility is key to staying safe!
Glow Up is ACHD’s new safety awareness campaign focused on helping our youngest commuters stay visible, and safe, in the dark.
Thanks to a grant from the Idaho Office of Highway Safety, ACHD staff will be out in the community all summer long, attending local events, hosting pop-ups, and handing out free safety swag like reflectors, lights, and glow-in-the-dark gear.

Take the pledge:
Kids can take the Glow Up Pledge, as a reminder to do their best to walk, bike, and roll safely. Parents can pledge to help educate and remind their students of the importance of glowing up. Those of driving age can pledge to glow up on the go using their headlights to be seen and better see those on foot or wheels. Taking the pledge enters you for a chance to win fun prizes!
