Seasonal Opportunities
Crack Seal Laborer
- Day Shift, Monday- Thursday, 7 am- 5:30 pm
- Enjoy 3-day weekends
- $19.00 p/h
Duties:
Fall/Winter Maintenance Crew:
- Use compressed air and heat to remove moisture & debris from the pavement cracks
- Fill voids with hot-applied asphalt-based sealant
- Care for and maintain District 1-ton truck
- Walk up to 10 miles per day while in the traffic and Right-of-Way
- Knock on doors to get cars moved when needed
- Must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, willing to take direction on processes and procedures
- Able to work outdoors in the fall and winter months
- Set-up and tear down traffic control barriers
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A Valid Drivers License
- Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic
- Work well in a team environment
- Ability to follow directions on county processes and procedures
- Follow and adhere to all safety policies and regulations
- Operate all county vehicles and equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Work 10-hour shifts outdoors in all weather conditions
