Linder Road, Pine Avenue to Franklin Road

Construction Update as of 05/29/2020:

Asphalt paving on the east side of Linder Road is expected to start as early as June 5th. Asphalt paving may cause temporary delays at driveways and side streets while paving operations cross those locations. Please plan your commute accordingly.
A traffic swap will immediately follow asphalt paving. Traffic will be swapped to the new asphalt on the east side to allow for work to begin on the west side of Linder Road.

Traffic Information: Traffic is one lane in each direction on Linder Road. There may be daytime lane restrictions with flagging. Crews are working on the traffic signal at the Franklin intersection, this may require the intersection to be placed in temporary flashing operations with flaggers.

A preconstruction conference was held on January 20th.

General Description:
The Ada County Highway District will widen Linder Road to five lanes with curb, gutter, sidewalk, storm drain, and bike lanes. The project includes upgrading the Union Pacific Railroad crossing, irrigation crossings, and Bridge #131. This project is a top priority Safe Routes to School request from the West Ada School District.
