Cloverdale Road, McMillan Road to Chinden Boulevard

Construction Updates as of (2/7/19):

DeMeyer Street on the east side of Cloverdale, will be closed beginning February 11th, until early April 2019. Crews will be working on an irrigation box culvert and utility relocations. Parents headed to Joplin Elementary must use Alfred Street to access the school. Image of detour route There will be flaggers placed at key locations during the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up to help buses and students get in and out safely. 

Traffic is expected to shift to the west side of the road in early to mid-February. Crews will begin work on the east side of the road including work on a irrigation box culvert at DeMeyer Street. The current schedule is weather dependent and may be subject to change.

Construction started on January 7th, 2019. Tree and fence removals have begun in advance of the project. There are ongoing utility relocations.

This project is being built in conjunction with the Cloverdale, Ustick to McMillan project.

The contractor for this project is Central Paving.

General Description:

  • Widen Cloverdale Road between McMillan Road and Chinden Boulevard to two lanes in each direction, with a center turn lane.
  • Add buffered bike lanes.
  • Construct curb, gutter and sidewalk.
