The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is starting preliminary work on a concept design for the Linder Road and Deer Flat Road intersection area, a neighborhood that features a sports park, several schools, and a variety of businesses.
The goal of the concept is to engage the community and determine what type of intersection will efficiently and safely meet the future needs of all users – motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists. We are in the very initial stages, which means that we don’t have a design, nor have we chosen an alternative at this time. Please review the newsletter to learn more.
- Develop and evalute intersection alternatives.
- The purpose of the redesign will be to improve safety, increase capacity and improve pedestrian connectivity
- This is a Federal aid project.
