ADA COUNTY — ACHD Commuteride invites local businesses and organizations in Ada County to register for the 2026 May in Motion campaign.

May in Motion is a month-long campaign that encourages organizations across the Treasure Valley to promote sustainable commute options such as vanpooling, carpooling, biking, walking, riding the bus, and teleworking.

Participants can earn rewards by logging their sustainable commutes through Share the Ride Idaho.

Throughout the month, organizations are encouraged to support employees in exploring a variety of commute options, helping both individuals and workplaces earn recognition for their efforts.

Businesses will also have access to customizable activities, educational opportunities, and resources provided by ACHD Commuteride to support and encourage sustainable commuting.

At the end of the campaign, organizations will be recognized for their employees’ participation and their commitment to promoting sustainable transportation.

Businesses and organizations can register now by visiting mayinmotion.com. Any businesses interested in participating are encouraged to attend an informational session on Thursday, April 9, at 10 a.m. at ACHD Headquarters.

Now in its 20th year, May in Motion continues to make a significant impact on reducing traffic congestion and vehicle emissions. In 2025, 1,193 participants collectively reduced more than 236,000 vehicle miles traveled, preventing approximately 80.6 metric tons of CO₂ from entering the air.
