Cloverdale Road, McMillan Road to Chinden Boulevard

Construction Updates as of (7/10/19):

Traffic on Cloverdale Road from McMillan to Chinden will shift to the east side of the road the morning of Friday, July 12th. This work will begin at 9 AM and may require flaggers and temporary lane restrictions. On July 15th to 16th, crews will be milling the west side of Cloverdale Road from McMillan to Chinden. This work may cause temporary delays at driveway approaches and side street intersections.

Traffic on Cloverdale Road from McMillan to Chinden will be swapped to the east side of the road the week of July 8th. The swap will happen during the day, beginning after the peak AM commute times. Crews will begin work on the west side of the road shortly after the swap is implemented.

Paving on the east side of Cloverdale began on June 30th and should be complete by July 3rd (bottom lift only). There is ongoing work to install curb and gutter on the east side of the roadway.

Crews milled the east side of Cloverdale from McMillan to Hickory and from Chinden to Explore on June 28th.

Traffic shifted to the west mid-February to allow for work on the east side of Cloverdale Road.

Construction started on January 7th, 2019

This project is being built in conjunction with the Cloverdale, Ustick to McMillan project.

The contractor for this project is Central Paving.

General Description:

  • Widen Cloverdale Road between McMillan Road and Chinden Boulevard to two lanes in each direction, with a center turn lane.
  • Add buffered bike lanes.
  • Construct curb, gutter and sidewalk.
