Construction update as of 6/21/18: Excavation is proceeding on the south side from west to east on Clark. Part of Clark is a complete rebuild. That portion has been excavated and is being prepared for curb. Seepage beds on the south side are complete. Concrete placements for curb, gutter and sidewalk are on-going. Work started on Targee last week. Suez is replacing the water line for the next several weeks.
Construction to Start Late April
Starting in late April crews will be constructing curb, gutter and sidewalk on both sides of Clark Street between Orchard and Roosevelt streets. Work is expected to be complete by mid-September 2018.
Please note that utility work related to the project may begin earlier to complete work before construction begins.
This project is being constructed alongside the Targee Street, Owyhee Street to Shoshone Street project.
Based on public input heard from the March 12th open house, ACHD will proceed with Option 2, constructing curb, gutter, and sidewalk on both the north and south sides of Clark Street. The next step will be to finalize the design and purchase needed right-of-way in 2016. Construction is planned for 2018.
