Project survey
After reviewing the information, please take our project survey. While you comments are always welcome, they can be best used if received by March 1, 2017.

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is developing alternatives for the State Street and Pierce Park Lane intersection.  The work will result in a concept design with recommended improvements to enhance the operation of the intersection for all users - motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists and transit.

During the study we will evaluate:

  • Realigning Pierce Park Lane at the intersection with State Street.
  • Increasing pedestrian and bicycle connectivity.
  • Expanding intersection to accommodate future traffic volumes.
  • Reconstructing this portion of State Street to conform with the State Street Transit and Traffic Operations Plan (TTOP), which includes accommodating transit expansion in the future.
To begin this process, we would like to learn from those who walk, bike and drive the intersection. Please join us on February 15 for a community open house to learn about the project, tell us how the intersection is working today, and discuss possible improvements.

Can’t attend the open house?

Materials from the open house and a short survey will be available by close of business on Thursday, February 16.  Written comments may be sent to 3775 Adams St., Garden City, ID 83714 or to by March 1, 2017.
