As part of the 2024 Residential Capital Maintenance Project, ACHD is designing improvements for 9th Street, Hayes to the northern limits of 9th Street.
The project includes rehabilitating several streets around Ada County to improve pavement conditions and upgrading streets for all users. As part of the street reconstruction, ACHD will also be filling in sidewalk gaps to increase connectivity, evaluating traffic calming elements where appropriate to improve safety and upgrading and/or installing pedestrian ramps to meet modern standards and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
After further evaluation is completed, ACHD will be reaching out to the neighborhood to gather feedback on the upcoming changes.
Construction is anticipated for 2024.
