Road construction and other utility work to impact local roadways

Ada County - Starting as early as today, several road construction projects and utility projects will impact local Ada County roadways.

-    Cole Road between Victory Road and Middle Fork Street will have lane restrictions with flagging February 23-March 24 for test boring.

-    Dewey Street between 30th Street and 31st Street will be closed February 23-24 for sewer main work.

-    Kuna-Mora Road, west of Curtis Road, will have lane restrictions with flagging from February 23-March 9 for driveway paving.

-    Mallard Drive, north of Hale Street, will have lane restrictions with flagging February 23-24 for utility work.

-    Targee Street between Maple Grove Road and Skillern Drive will have lane restrictions with flagging February 23-July 17 for pedestrian improvements.

-    Victory Road, east and west of Cole Road, will have lane restrictions from February 23-March 24 for test boring.

-    6th Street between Idaho Street and Main Street will have lane restrictions from February 27-March 1 for utility work.

-    Americana Boulevard between Shoreline Drive and Americana Terrace will have lane restrictions with occasional flagging February 28-March 12 for overhead cable work.

-    Goldenrod Avenue between Five Mile Road and Shamrock Avenue will be closed from February 28-March 7 for sewer and storm drain work. No access will be available between Five Mile Road and Buckboard Place.

-    Howard Street, west of Denver Avenue, will have lane restrictions with flagging for sewer work on February 24.

-    Kootenai Street between Vista Avenue and Columbus Street will have lane restrictions with flagging February 27-March 6 to allow crews to replace power poles.

-    The intersection of Lake Hazel Road and Ten Mile Road will be closed February 25-27 for sewer main work.

-    Linder Road, north of Chinden Boulevard, will have lane restrictions February 27-March 3 for median work.

-    Overland Road between Owyhee Street and Pacific Street will have lane and pedestrian restrictions February 27-March 27 for building renovation.

-    The intersection of River Street and 14th Street will have lane restrictions with occasional flagging February 28-March 12 for overhead cable work.

-    Targee Street between Maple Grove Road and Ranchero Way will be closed February 28-April 3. The bridge is out. Crews will be replacing the culvert.

-    The intersection of Warm Springs and Parkcenter Boulevard will have lane restrictions March 1-2 for light pole work.

-    The closure on Meridian Road between Ustick Road and Fairview Avenue has been extended to March 2 due to a utility conflict and a rain delay from last weekend.

Motorists can expect delays in these areas, and should plan alternate routes of travel whenever possible.
