Road construction and utility work to impact local roads

Ada County – Various road construction projects and utility work will impact local Ada County roadways starting as early as today.

·         8th Street between Myrtle Street and Broad Street will be closed at night, and Avenue A between Myrtle Street and Front Street; Broad Street between 8th Street and 9th Street. River Street between Capitol Boulevard and 8th Street will have nighttime lane restrictions with flagging on March 17-18 for soil and asphalt testing.

·         The intersections of Bannock Street and 10th Street, and Bannock Street and 11th Street will have lane restrictions with flagging on March 17 and March 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for building construction.

·         Front Street between 13th Street, 14th Street, 15th Street and 16th Streetwill have a nighttime road closure March 17-18 for soil borings for an upcoming ACHD project.

·         Meridian Road between Ustick Road and McMillan Road will be closed March 17-20. No access will be allowed between Ustick Road and Ashby Drive. Crews will be doing water, sewer, and storm drain work.

·         3rd Street between Bannock Street and Jefferson Street will be closed for a sewer project March 20-21.

·         4th Street between Franklin Street and Washington Street will be closed March 20-April 7 for a sewer project.

·         9th Street south of Main Street to Front Street will have lane restrictions March 21-27 for transport for the Boise Flower and Garden Show.

·         The intersection of Amity Road and Rimview Way will have lane restrictions with flagging March 20 for water main work.

·         Cole Road between Kuna Mora Road and Barker Road will be closed March 21-25 for sewer and power work. No access will be allowed off of Barker Road.

·         All legs of the intersection of Federal Way and Findley Avenue will have pedestrian and lane restrictions with flagging March 20-May 8 for pedestrian signal installation.

·         Grove Street between 11th Street and 13th Street, and 12th Street between Main Street and Front Street will be closed for Treefort Music Festival March 22-26.

·         Hubbard Road between Linder Road and Meridian Road will be closed March 22 to allow crews to replace a culvert across the road. No access will be allowed between Copeland Avenue and Saratov Avenue.

·         Lake Forest Drive west of Federal Way; Lake Forest Drive between Federal Way and Yamhill Road; and Red Cedar Lane south of Lake Forest Drive will be closed March 20-April 14 for sewer main work.

·         Overland Road east of Milwaukee Street will have lane restrictions March 22-24 for manhole access.

·         Ten Mile Road south of Chateau Drive will have lane restrictions at night on March 22-24 for fiber repair work.

·         The intersection of Ten Mile Road and Hubbard Road will have lane restrictions with flagging March 23-30 for irrigation repair.

·         Meridian Road between Claire Street and Lava Falls Drive will have lane restrictions with flagging March 21-25 for overhead cable work.

·         Beacon Light Road, 1,400 feet east of Hartley Road to 500 feet east of Park Lane will have mobile lane restrictions with flagging for a power line upgrade March 20-May 18.

·         The south corners of 8th and Broad streets will have lane restrictions with flagging for a CCDC Streetscape Project March 20-April 2.

·         3rd Street between Idaho Street and Bannock Street, and 3rd Street between Bannock Street and Idaho Street will be closed March 22-24 for a sewer project.

·         Main Street between Capitol Boulevard and 6th Street will have lane and pedestrian restrictions March 20-22 for manhole access.

·         Locust Grove Road south of Franklin Road will have lane restrictions March 21 for street light installation.

Motorists are advised to expect delays in these areas, and plan alternate routes of travel whenever possible.
