Ready for 'Constructionmageddon'?

Let's cut to the chase: 2018 is going to be a record-breaking construction season with $61 million of work and 91 separate projects across Ada County. Eventually, this will mean better, safer roadway infrastructure -- for all of us -- but in the short-term this means disruption, delays and detours. For all of us.

In the same way that we survived 'Snowmageddon', we can get through this with a bit of planning and patience. The information on this page will show you how to find what's going on, how long projects will last and how to plan your routes to minimize the inconvenience.

Here are some of the big projects for 2018:

  • State Street/Veterans Memorial Parkway
    • Intersection revamp
    • February through October
    • Financial incentive for contractor's early completion
    • Expect delays; seek alternate routes

    • Construction through September
    • Road is closed
