Pavement Management

ACHD's Pavement Management program inspects the roadway infrastructure throughout Ada County.

This effort includes the inspection of the arterial and collector system roads, and local and residential roads. Based on this effort, the Maintenance Division is able to schedule overlay projects. On the average, an overlay is projected to extend the life of a roadway between eight and ten years, and saves the public millions of dollars by reducing the need for complete reconstruction.
